Magnum is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains the type of information we collect, how we use the information we collect, and how we protect it. It also explains what you can do if you do not want your personal data to be collected when you visit our social media pages, and how you can modify or update the information you have already provided to us.

This Privacy Policy applies to the following GROM social media pages:

The social media pages are managed by Magnum ICC Italy S.r.l. (hereinafter also referred to as “Magnum”), which is responsible for the content published on GROM’s social media pages.

Magnum does not manage or control the platforms on which the GROM social media pages are hosted.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to banners, advertisements, or promotional content that we may display and that originate from third-party websites.

 

Collection of Personal Information

In this Privacy Policy, the term "Personal Information" means information that can be used to identify a user, either directly or indirectly. Personal Information generally includes your name, address, username, email address, telephone number, and credit card details, but may also include other information such as purchasing habits, preferences, and lifestyle details, including hobbies and interests. If you “Like” GROM’s Facebook page, or follow GROM on Instagram or LinkedIn, your Personal Information may also include your username, profile picture, gender, connections, and any other information you choose to share publicly or directly with Magnum through those platforms.

Through GROM’s social media pages, you may be asked to provide Personal Information in order to enter promotions, sweepstakes or competitions, receive information or emails, purchase a product or service from us, complete a survey, submit a comment or request, or for various other purposes. We assure you that Magnum will not collect any Personal Information unless you voluntarily provide it. By providing us with your Personal Information, you authorize us to use such information in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy, including your right to limit our use of your Personal Information (see the “Who to Contact” section below).

 

How We Use Your Information

Your Personal Information is used by Magnum for the specific purposes for which it was collected (for example, to respond to a request from you). Your Personal Information may also be used to improve our products and social media pages, and to contact you about other products and services that may be of interest to you, including those offered in collaboration with other companies. We may also share or transfer your Personal Information to other companies within the Magnum Group and to third parties that directly support Magnum’s promotional activities and the development of its websites and social media pages. However, you may opt out of receiving such communications at any time (see the “Who to Contact” section below).

We may combine the information you provide to us with other information that we already hold or receive from third parties. We do this for marketing purposes in order to provide more tailored products and services that better meet your needs.

Data Processors

In certain cases, we may engage service providers to process and analyse the data we collect through GROM’s social media pages, including Personal Data, in order to generate insights that we use to improve our products and pages and to monitor the effectiveness of specific promotions or campaigns (the “Data Processors”).

 

Your Rights

Privacy Notice – Reviews of GROM Stores


Dear Customer,,

With this notice, Gromart S.r.l., with registered office in Turin (TO), Piazza Paleocapa 1/D (hereinafter “Gromart” or the “Controller”), wishes to inform you about the processing of your personal data in connection with the management of reviews that you, as a customer of one of our stores, may leave on third-party platforms (including Google Maps, TripAdvisor, Apple Maps, Waze, Bing Maps, and Trustpilot), which enable Gromart to respond to such reviews.

As Data Controller, Gromart will process the personal data you provide for the purpose of responding to your review of one of our stores or one of our products.

This processing of personal data is based, pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) of EU Regulation 679/2016 (GDPR), on the Controller’s legitimate interest in fostering customer engagement and continuously improving its products and services through the management and analysis of customer reviews. Please note that you may object at any time to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest by writing to the following email address: privacy@grom.it.

Gromart recommends that data subjects minimise the amount of personal information included in the text of their reviews and refrain from disclosing any information relating to their health status.

The Data Controller uses external service providers, duly appointed as Data Processors. Your personal data will not be disclosed to the public and may only be shared with third parties where required by law.

The platforms on which you may choose to leave reviews (including Google Maps, TripAdvisor, Apple Maps, Waze, Bing Maps, and Trustpilot) are operated by third-party companies acting as independent Data Controllers with respect to the provision of their services and the processing of your personal data. Accordingly, you should refer to the privacy information provided by the owners of these platforms to understand how they process your personal data.

Your personal data will be retained for the time necessary to respond to your review, as well as for any additional period required by law or necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims. Once this period has expired, your personal data will be deleted or anonymised.

You may exercise at any time the rights granted under Articles 15 and following of EU Regulation 679/2016 (GDPR), including the right to access, rectify, complete and/or erase your personal data, as well as the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, by writing to the following email address: privacy@grom.it.
